Round Two

Ever since I started the 100DaysToOffload challenge, I kept asking myself, that would I be able to complete it or not. Days went by and now it’s literally the last day of 2021.

Speaking of the challenge, I sought of gave up back in September, but pushed myself to atleast post something. So what went wrong with me.

In July of 2021, I got myself a copy of Forza Horizon 4, a game franchise which I always wanted to play as a kid. Now, I was faced with a huge issue, the game works on Linux but only with AMD graphics card, and I have a Nvidia one. So, ultimately I was left with two choices, either give up on playing the game or switch back to windows and I went with later option.

Months went by and I even got the latest edition of Forza Horizon 5. I was deeply immersed in the gameplay, that I literally forgot that I have a blog and a challenge is going on. Now, some might say that dual booting is an option, but I hate that and I continued with my windows gaming setup until 28th December.

On that day, I dual booted my machine with endeavourOS alongside windows 10. Do I regret doing that, absolutely not I should have done that from the beginning itself. I don’t know why, I hesitated on doing that.

So what’s next stored in for this blog. I have decided that, I will begin the second round of 100DaysToOffload challenge, effective from 1st January 2022. Also, I am planning on doing something else alongside this challenge, if everything goes well, I will let you know.
